Disposition and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

We advise clients on property disposition and RFP processes from concept through completion. We also help developers and end users acquire public property and successfully respond to RFPs:

Site and Proposal Analysis / Feasibility Studies

  • Analyzing key site and use characteristics, including: market comparables and market studies, constructibility, urban design strategies, and environmental conditions, and site constraints

  • Completing financial analysis, including underwriting potential development schemes and analyzing proposals and pro formas.

  • Peter Erhartic

    FOUNDER

    Peter’s diverse experience in public and private real estate spans mixed-income housing, the adaptive reuse of historic buildings, and district-scale master-planned development.

    Prior to founding Building Block, Peter was Director of Real Estate at the I-195 Redevelopment District, a quasi-public state agency responsible for the redevelopment of 26-acres of land in Downtown Providence where an elevated highway once ran. In this capacity, he oversaw dispositions and development RFPs leading to over $500 million of investment and 1 million square feet of development (proposed or built). Previously, Peter worked as a development manager for developers in New York City and Boston.

    Peter holds a masters degree in real estate from Harvard University, a bachelors degree in history from Connecticut College, and is an AICP certified city planner.

    He lives in Providence with his wife, Anne, and their two children, Marlow and Graham. In his free time he can be found on the water, rowing on the Seekonk River or swimming in Buzzards Bay, and enjoying the culture, food, and urbanism of Providence, New York City, and Boston.
