Our Work
Peter Erhartic founded Building Block in 2024, bringing nearly 15 years of experience in real estate development, urban planning, historic preservation, and project management. Before launching the firm, he served as Director of Real Estate at the I-195 Redevelopment District, a quasi-public agency overseeing the transformation of 26 acres in Downtown Providence, formerly occupied by Interstate 195. Prior to that, he spent a decade leading mission-driven real estate development projects in New York City and Boston, specializing in complex urban redevelopment, the adaptive reuse of historic buildings, and public-private partnerships.
He holds an MDes in Real Estate from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and is an AICP certified city planner.
